The Budget Essentials for FMs Workshop is a four-part virtual series designed to give facility management professionals a foundational understanding of budgeting. This is not a high-level finance course or a deep dive into complex accounting. Instead, it’s a practical workshop, where you’ll gain real-world budgeting knowledge —the kind you need in your role.  Each 2-hour session is designed to walk you through the fundamentals of capital and operating budgets, using everyday language, guided exercises, and real-life examples. You’ll learn how to create a budget from scratch, align it with organizational goals, manage it throughout the year, and most importantly—communicate it effectively to leadership.
