Disaster Recovery for Building Professionals
When it comes to ensuring the continuity of your business after a disaster, there are a lot of factors to consider. This 3 week online course is designed specifically for building professionals to learn advanced skills and best practices for managing when either man-made or natural disasters strike your organization and the critical role the building professionals plays in support during and after a disaster.
The course focuses on preparing, managing during a crisis and recovery after a disaster. The course will review policies, procedures and ways to keep customers and the staff safe. It will address topics such as strategies to deal with crises, contingency planning, and developing the best course of action to restart your business, including: Emergency Planning, Workplace Standards, Technology and Data Security and People needs.
Topics are timely and relevant to support the Real Estate, Facilities and Building sector. This will be an interactive online curriculum with plenty of opportunities for participant to engage in a collective gathering of information and skillsets. They will be encouraged to take a critical review of their facilities, identify vulnerabilities, areas of improvement and to investigate change management strategies.
